Peppermint Tea: Natural Treatment for Gas

You can use mint raw by preparing pudina chutney without adding sugar or sodium to maintain the actual texture and flavor of pudina. Peppermint tea relieves cramps or pain from gas or bloating. Therefore peppermint tea is common home remedy for gas. There are many ways to prepare mint tea by using mint leaves, tea bag or using ice. You can drink hot tea in winter and also iced tea during summer.

How to Make Peppermint tea for Bloating or Gas

1. Using Mint Leaves

Ingredients:

5-7 leaves of pudina

One cup of water

Lemon or Honey(Optional)

Method: Use fresh green peppermint (not dried) leaves. Rinse them with water and crush also for better effects of herb. Boil water for 8-10 minutes. Mix leaves in hot water. Steep the tea for 8-10 minutes. Drain leaves from water. Enjoy tea with honey or lemon for better taste.

2. Using Teabag

Ingredients:

1 Peppermint Teabag

One cup of water

Lemon or Honey(Optional)

Method: Boil water for 10 minutes. Add mint teabag in hot water. Steep tea for 5 minutes. Remove the teabag. Mix the honey or lemon to enhance the taste.
